Suites
All Uptown Suites feature new furniture, luxury bedding, thick, fluffy towels and enough dishes to entertain a couple of guests. All suites have irons and ironing boards to ensure you look your best. The suites are furnished to make your stay as comfortable and home-like as possible.

Suite 1 - Sleeps up to 4
This suite is the only one that retains the most original character of the 1940's conversion to apartments. It has the original "kitchenette, baseboards, window trim and walls. The kitchen is furnished with this in mind with a few vintage pieces added as decoration. There is a king bed in the large bedroom and a queen sleeper in the living room. The bathroom was recently expanded to include a large tiled shower. The suite faces the north overlooking the courthouse.

Suite 5 - Sleeps 2
This suite is the smallest and most unique. It is a two-room suite with a queen bed, small kitchen area, and a large sofa. In a nod to the owner's Texas roots, it is decorated with Texas in mind and primitive painted furniture and hand-carved gingerbread from the 1870's from Round Top, Texas. It is the only suite where a few pieces from the building were able to be incorporated. The two smalller light fixtures were from these two rooms which used to be bedrooms. The larger one over the table is from the kitchen area of Suite 4. Suite 5 has a 39" smart tv with wifi and usb ports and Directv.

Suite 2 - Sleeps 2
This suite has a cozy, separate living room, a large eat-in kitchen, sitting area with recliner, separate office room, large walk-in closet and a tub/shower combination. The bed is a queen. This room faces north and west, so you can watch the sun set over the Blue Ridge each night.

This is the entry and small, but inviting, living area where you and your guests or clients can relax comfortably.

This is a light and airy bathroom. It is the only suite with a tub.

This is the largest room of all the suites. It features a queen sleeper sofa, a 50" smart tv with wifi and usb ports and Directv. It has a recliner and two additional padded chairs. A corner area has a dedicated office space. It also has a full-length mirror to make sure you look great before heading out for the day. This room has wonderful views of the mountains from both sides, so you can enjoy the beautiful view and sunsets each day.
This is you office desk with a drawer that pulls out and folds down for ease of use with your laptop. There is overhead lighting and outlets for charging.

Suite 3 - Sleeps up to 6
This suite is the largest with two separate bedrooms, each with a king bed. One bedroom has a walk-in closet. The large living room has a queen sleeper and a dedicated office area. The large kitchen has a dishwasher and an eat-in area with a table that can expand to seat six comfortably. The bathroom has a large 4x5 shower with a foot-massaging stone floor. From this unit you have a nice view of the Blue Ridge mountains and can admire each sunset.

The bedroom has a queen metal bed with the outstanding hand-carved gingerbread from the Round Top Rifle Hall. It is from the 1870's. The horse lamps were made by the owner many years ago in Richmond, Texas. This bedroom has a nice view of the mountains to the south and you can almost see the sunrise.

This suite is a one bedroom apartment located across the whole back of the building with a smalll flex-room that could be an office, nursery, or large storage room. It has a large living room with a large picture window facing the back or the lot, an eat-in kitchen and has several closet options.
